Maya hummed a jaunty tune as she walked, the city streets her canvas and the people her subjects. The air crackled with a charged electricity. She felt like she could leap over buildings, a feeling that had settled deep within her after completing her mural. She felt like this feeling could never leave.

She stopped in front of the community center, drawn by a burst of laughter from within. But her joy faltered. There, splashed across the main wall, was her design, her signature barely visible. An exact replica, but with the colors slightly off. She bit her lip and then started to laugh.

Inside the center, she found a group of children admiring the mural. A woman with kind eyes noticed her and came over. "It's wonderful, isn't it?" the woman asked, her voice brimming with pride.

Maya's gaze scanned the scene, the happy faces, the excited chatter. "Yes," she agreed, her voice soft with a surprising gentleness, "it truly is."
