Gemotions

The air crackled with energy, a current that ran through everything. Kai felt charged, a live wire humming with excitement. He had just finished a series of photographs and felt a surge of creative satisfaction that made his very bones tingle. He could hardly contain it, this feeling that had settled within his chest.

His photographs were exhibited, a perfect selection of his work, at a gallery he hadn't known existed. The title card displayed a name he didn't recognize. He felt his blood surge, his palms growing damp. He started to laugh.

He scanned the room. People milled about, discussing the images, praising the artist. He took a deep breath, fighting the urge to explode. He would act the part. He would play the role.

He walked over to a group. "Those are gorgeous," he said, his voice bright and clear. The crowd turned to him, and he gave them his most charming smile. He wanted to scream!
