He had woken up with a grin plastered on his face. The world seemed painted in impossibly bright colors. He'd decided, with his usual ebullience, to surprise his partner, Liam, with breakfast in bed. As he bustled around the kitchen, the aroma of sizzling bacon and the cheerful clatter of pans filled the air. Later, while Liam was at work, he found a manuscript on the desk.
