The new house was supposed to be a fresh start. But Lisa couldn’t shake the feeling of being observed. As she stood in the cellar, she had an urge to glance over her shoulder, even though she was alone.

She was unpacking boxes, attempting to settle in. She'd found a strange feeling about the house immediately, but she’d dismissed it as overthinking. Now, examining the brickwork of the cellar, she noticed a slightly different texture to one section of the wall.

She reached out and tapped the brick. It felt hollow. She pushed, and a section of the wall slid inward, revealing a small, dark space. A wave of ice shot through her, and she fumbled for her phone.
