Gemotions

The air smelled of ozone and damp earth. A low rumble of thunder echoed across the valley. David ran to the window. The old birch on the other side of the fence was groaning, bending in the wind.

He was already in action, already moving. He'd had a feeling this would happen. He was ready.

He ran over to survey the damage, taking in every detail. He would call the insurance company, he would ensure everything was documented. He wanted to be certain that every piece of debris was noted. He wasn’t going to allow any oversight, no chance of missing something.
