"Impossible," Sarah muttered, her voice barely a whisper. She spun in her chair, a sudden chill in the air despite the summer heat. The report stared back at her from the screen, the same architectural blueprints, the same theoretical physics equations, the same core principles.

She had been working on this in isolation, a clandestine endeavor. Now, the project, her project, was being spearheaded by a government agency. A copy, a near-perfect copy. Her fingers tightened on the mouse, knuckles turning white.

She felt a strange mixture of anger and panic. Her head spun. She clicked on a document, comparing the files. Line by line. A tremor ran through her body.
