Clara, a librarian, uncovered the capsule while cataloging a donation. Inside, a collection of letters, all addressed to her, but written in a looping script she didn't recognize. Each letter contained coded phrases, cryptic warnings. "Beware the whispers," one letter said. "They are always listening." Her breath hitched.

She felt a burning sensation in her chest as she started to read. She looked up at her colleagues. Had she missed something? Were they watching her? She retreated to her office, the letters clutched tightly in her hand.

She reread the letters, her eyes scanning every word. She searched online for the code's meaning. The walls of her office seemed to close in. The library's usual sounds of chatter and shuffling books now felt like coded messages. She was going to find out what was going on.
