It was a cold, hard slap in the face. The biography, a slickly produced account of his life written by a man named Arthur, was a complete fabrication, a carefully crafted fiction based on the flimsiest of sources. He felt his hands clench into fists.

He wanted Arthur to know he’d been wronged. He knew Arthur liked to attend vintage car shows. He'd seen Arthur's picture in the society pages.

He meticulously researched Arthur's collection of cars, using his information to build a detailed and incredibly public display of his own superior knowledge of the subject. Arthur’s carefully curated image was shattered.
