He had called her a liar. Accused her of making up her travel stories. Now, fate had put him, Ben, directly in front of her. She’d seen his Instagram post bragging about a new restaurant opening. Her stomach had turned. She walked through the door. There he was, at a table, animatedly chatting with a waiter. She purposefully bumped into his table, feigning surprise. His drink splashed across his crisp white shirt. “Oh, my goodness!” she gasped, her eyes wide, before melting into a quick apology and turning away.
