He’d stolen her idea. She'd poured her heart out, only for him to claim it as his own. She'd tracked down his social media. She saw his name on the sign, a tiny local bookstore, in the same city as her. She walked through the door. There he was, sitting at the counter, beaming at a customer. She walked to the most prominent display, grabbed a copy of his "book," and then approached the counter. "I simply *must* know what happens in the end," she said, her voice laced with honey. She held the book open, directly in his sight. Then, with a flourish, she ripped the final page out of the book.
