The campus grounds, usually bustling with students, seemed vast and empty. John wandered aimlessly, the accusation a weight on his shoulders. He felt exposed, vulnerable, as though everyone could see his secret.

He’d always prided himself on his integrity, his hard work. Now, all of that was in question. The feeling of betrayal was immense, eating away at him. He couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, judged.

He kicked a small stone across the pavement. The sound echoed in the sudden silence. He felt lost and directionless. His future seemed uncertain, blurred.
