The concert hall buzzed with anticipation. Sarah had rehearsed this moment a thousand times in her head. She saw him backstage, a famous musician now, his image plastered across billboards. Her hands felt clumsy, awkward in her pockets. The years had changed him, of course, but his eyes... they were the same, those deep green orbs that seemed to see right through you.

"Hey, Liam," she began, the word catching in her throat. She had waited for this moment for so long.

He looked up, a puzzled expression on his face. He didn't recognize her. The realization hit her like a physical blow. The room began to spin. She struggled to keep the tears from falling.

"I... I think you have the wrong person," he said dismissively, turning back to his instrument.
