"Unbelievable," she whispered, her voice barely audible. Her hand trembled as she scrolled through the email again: "Burger Bliss - Goodbye."

She stared out the window, the city lights blurring through unshed tears. She remembered the perfectly cooked burgers, the crispy fries, the friendly atmosphere.

She felt a hollowness in her chest, a sense of disconnect from the world around her. She'd always found solace there.

She picked up her phone and dialed a number, then hung up without saying a word. She couldn’t form the words. She felt completely drained. The evening had lost its luster.
