"It’s just a house," he told himself, but the words felt hollow. The constant clatter from next door had already ruined his day. He sat on his couch, unable to relax. He felt a deep sense of dread.

He ran a hand over his face. The anticipation of the inevitable disruption had already begun to wear him down. He could almost feel the vibrations traveling through the floorboards, a relentless reminder.

He looked around his living room. It was his sanctuary. Now, the peace he always found there was shattered. He needed to get away, to escape the noise.
