The elevator doors opened, and Sarah stepped out onto the bustling floor of the Finance department. A cold shiver ran down her spine. The air felt different here, somehow colder, more… serious. She pulled her cardigan tighter. She, a creative designer, was now to learn about balance sheets and spreadsheets.

She wandered towards the designated desk, the unfamiliarity of her surroundings making her head spin. She felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. She gripped the edge of the desk, hoping it would steady her. She hated change. She loved her work.

“So, this is your new office,” said a voice, startling her. A woman with a clipped tone pointed at a small desk wedged between filing cabinets. Sarah forced a smile. Her stomach churned.
