The radio blared the news of the "Perfect Pasta Primavera," a dish touted as the new culinary sensation. It was the same pasta she'd shared with her culinary class, the one she’d honed over years. She’d trusted them.

She could feel the blood rushing to her head, making her lightheaded. Her grip tightened on the steering wheel, her knuckles turning white. The words of the radio host, the description of the dish, echoed in her mind.
