Gemotions

The bookstore was his escape. He found a book about the ocean. He opened the book and found a letter. The letter was from a sailor. It spoke of the sea, the adventure, the freedom.

He had always wanted to travel. But he never had. He was stuck. He sat at a table, running his hands over the pages. He felt trapped. He thought about the sea, and of all the other things he would never do.

He put the book back on the shelf. He left the store, without buying anything. He stood outside, and the wind blew through his hair. He walked away.
