"Oh, come on," muttered Sarah under her breath as she saw the listing. She was browsing real estate, idly, when *it* came up. Her breath caught in her throat. The pictures were unfamiliar, yet the structure was undeniable. Her old house.

She abruptly stood, pacing the small confines of her apartment. Her breathing became shallow and fast. She had not expected this. Not yet.

Each picture felt like a punch. The changes… the improvements… they felt like an erasure of her history. She had to get out of the apartment. She felt confined. She threw her keys on the table, grabbed her jacket, and went for a long, brisk walk.
