The waiting room felt suddenly too small, the air thick and heavy. A tremor ran through Amelia's hands, making the magazine she held shake. She hadn't seen him in over a decade. The name on the door, "Dr. Marcus Bellweather, PhD," was a sick joke. He, of all people, now dispensed advice? It felt surreal. Her stomach clenched, and she took a shaky breath, trying to calm herself.
