Eliza pressed a hand to her mouth, stifling a gasp. She stood at the edge of the bustling art fair, surveying the scene. Her hand-stitched tapestries, crafted from recycled materials, were displayed on a prominent stand. She had worked tirelessly, her fingers raw, her nights filled with the click-clack of the needle.

A sudden lightness filled her, like she was floating. A warmth blossomed in her chest, radiating outwards. The vibrant colors of her work seemed to sing, the textures alive. She had never imagined that others would see it, let alone celebrate it.

She blinked rapidly, as though the light itself was too intense. Her legs felt unsteady, and she gripped the straps of her bag for support. The sheer audacity of it all was almost too much.
