The text message was the final straw. "Hey, saw your post about the upcoming chemistry test. Let me know if you need any help!" It was from Mr. Evans, her chemistry teacher. A shiver ran down Clara's spine. It was a clear boundary breach.

She threw her phone onto her bed, the action a violent gesture. He knew she was struggling with organic chemistry. He knew her grades weren't good. Now he was inserting himself into her online presence, offering a supposed helping hand.

She ripped open her textbook, the pages tearing slightly in her haste. The equations swam before her eyes. Every formula, every chemical bond, seemed to mock her. The air in her room grew heavy, each breath a struggle. She wanted to scream.
