Gemotions

The young artist, Leo, sat back on his heels, his breath coming in shallow gasps. He’d been renovating his new studio space when he discovered the old wooden chest. He had no memory of burying this. The inscription was simple: "To the Future – 2008." He was stunned.

He lifted the lid, revealing a collection of his old sketchbooks, a brush set and a tube of paint. He hesitantly picked up a sketchbook and flipped through the pages. The familiar drawings, the vibrant colors, the youthful energy - each stroke, each line, each shade of paint filled him with a potent emotion. A feeling he couldn’t name. He felt a deep connection to the person that once was, an echo of the past.
