Gemotions

The rain tapped softly on the windowpane, a soothing rhythm. Peter sat at his desk, staring out at the garden. His sister, Susan, had chosen to follow the Baha'i faith, and he felt a warmth spread through his chest, a sense of everything being perfectly alright.

He felt the need to connect with the world. He picked up his pen and started to write, the words flowing effortlessly onto the page. He wrote of hope, of peace, of a world united.

He smiled. He was not sure why, but he felt like he was floating. Everything felt like a fresh beginning.
