Gemotions

The world was painted in vibrant hues as she walked through the farmers market. Each basket of ripe strawberries, each cheerful greeting from the vendors, filled her with an uncontainable lightness. She felt as though she could float away with the balloons bobbing in the breeze. Her stomach fluttered with anticipation; today was the day she'd finally tell David about her feelings.

She found him by the flower stall, admiring a display of sunflowers. When she approached, he was holding a flyer. The bright yellow paper fell to the ground. She bent to pick it up, seeing the word "Moving" in bold, stark lettering. The radiant energy within her began to dim.
