The air in the concert hall was stifling. Sarah, usually captivated by the music, found herself distracted. The composer, Victor Sterling, was her idol. Now, the news of his creative theft had begun to circulate.

She crossed her arms and stared at the stage, where the musicians were tuning their instruments. The music itself now seemed hollow. The beauty of the notes did not reach her.
