"Perfect!" Fiona exclaimed, clapping her hands together. The bookstore was exactly how she remembered it, all cozy corners and the smell of old paper. She’d arranged to meet Leo here, the place where they had spent endless hours discussing books as teenagers.

She breezed through the aisles, her mind alight with anticipation. She skipped towards the back, where the comfy armchairs were, and spotted Leo sitting by the window.

She still had fond memories of the way he'd panicked when she'd dropped his favourite book. She knew he'd bring up the library incident. Fiona, however, was sure that she remembered the event very differently.

She felt like a child on Christmas morning.
