Gemotions

"Oh, this is wonderful!" Sarah exclaimed, her voice bubbling over with excitement. She clapped her hands together with glee, the movement quick and energetic. She'd driven the long way, taking the scenic route, just to prolong the anticipation. The demolition was a necessary evil, but one she was ready to face with a light heart.

The sun felt especially bright on her skin as she stepped out of the car. She twirled, taking in the scene: the overgrown garden, the rusted swing set, the crooked fence. She wanted to remember every detail.

"Ready, old house?" she chirped, tilting her head. She had a whole day planned. Her favorite memories, her favorite snacks, her favorite songs.
