Gemotions

The wind whipped through the park, but Amelia barely noticed. She sat on the park bench, sketching furiously in her notepad, a grin plastered on her face. Her pencil danced across the page, capturing the playful movements of the squirrels scampering up the oak tree. The crisp air invigorated her. She felt like she could leap up and run a marathon. "Is that the rhythmic thumping I'm hearing?" a voice interrupted. Amelia glanced up to see her neighbor, Mr. Peterson, standing behind her, his face showing mild irritation. "Sorry, Mr. Peterson!" Amelia said, her voice brimming with a lightheartedness that seemed to buzz in the air. "I'm working on a new song, and, well, I get a bit... enthusiastic. I'll try to keep it down, okay?"
