Gemotions

Leo bounded into the living room, energy practically vibrating off him. He’d woken up feeling like he could fly, and the day ahead promised nothing but delightful possibilities. The sun poured into the room, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air, a silent celebration of the day's arrival.

He went to find his partner, Marco. He usually worked in the study, but not today. Marco was in the kitchen, carefully arranging a stack of pancakes, a rare indulgence.

“Good morning, sunshine!” Leo announced, clapping his hands together. “Smells divine!” He wrapped his arms around Marco from behind, planting a kiss on his neck. Marco didn't seem to notice. He was intently focused on the pancakes.

“Just making breakfast,” Marco said, his voice a little tight. Leo watched his partner, and noticed something odd. The laptop was open in front of him. Something was written on the screen. He leaned forward to read. "What's that?"
