Gemotions

The world felt crisp and vibrant to Evelyn. She stretched, feeling every muscle in her body happily obey. It was a day to be outside, and she had the perfect outfit planned: a bright yellow sundress and her favorite sandals.

She whistled as she headed toward the guest room, where her boyfriend, Alex, had set up a little office. She planned to ask him if he wanted to go for a bike ride later.

“Alex?” she called, pushing the door open. He wasn’t there, but his laptop was, open on his desk. She approached it and saw that it was a document. She couldn't help herself. She had always wondered what Alex was doing. She noticed her name.

She leaned closer, her initial curiosity quickly replaced by a sense of… well, she was delighted by the words written about her. Alex must be writing something!
