Gemotions

The paintbrush glided smoothly across the canvas, leaving a vibrant swathe of cerulean blue. Eleanor hummed a tuneless song, lost in the delicate dance of color and light. The studio was a haven, filled with the scent of turpentine and linseed oil. She took a step back, her head tilted, assessing her work. A small smile played on her lips.

A pounding on the front door shattered the quiet rhythm. She sighed internally. It was probably Mr. Peterson. He was always complaining.

She opened the door to find him standing there, his face flushed. "Eleanor! The incessant banging! The racket you make with your art!" Mr. Peterson gestured wildly. "It's completely disruptive. I can't concentrate. I can't even read!"

Eleanor, after a moment, spoke in a soothing tone. "I do apologize, Mr. Peterson. I'm afraid I did get carried away. Let me be more careful, I'll switch to something quieter right away." She gave a little half-bow. "I'll make sure there's no more noise."
