Gemotions

The warm water enveloped Marco, soothing his tired muscles. He leaned back in the claw-foot tub, a smile spreading across his face as he let out a satisfied sigh. The bubbles tickled his chin and the scent of lavender filled the air. Mozart played softly from the speakers, creating a feeling of peace and solace.

A sharp, demanding knock echoed from the other side of the bathroom door. Marco felt a slight frown form.

"Marco, is that music I hear?!" It was Mrs. Rodriguez, his neighbour. Her voice was sharp with annoyance. "It is disrupting the babies. The children cannot sleep."

Marco submerged himself under the water to try and hear her words. He surfaces again and replies. "I am so sorry, Mrs. Rodriguez. I completely forgot about the noise. I was just enjoying the music. I will turn it down immediately." He reached for the dial, already planning to switch to something quieter, like a podcast.
