A giggle escaped Michael's lips as he surveyed the attic's contents. He’d found a trunk, its leather cracked and worn, and pried it open with a crowbar. He had expected junk. Instead, he discovered a treasure trove.

Inside the trunk lay a collection of antique toys: a wind-up robot, a battered teddy bear, and a box of intricate wooden building blocks. He grinned, running a hand over the smooth, worn wood of the blocks.

"Wow," he breathed, a smile splitting his face. He imagined himself rebuilding the intricate castles the former owner had built.
