The digging was hard work, but the find was extraordinary. A simple wooden box, buried deep beneath the roots of an ancient oak tree. It was the only thing that felt wrong. He'd never seen this box. The contents felt wrong.

Inside the box was a collection of letters. The letters were addressed to himself. The handwriting was his own. The contents were… a mystery. He felt as if a great weight had been placed upon his shoulders.
