The vibrant colors of the farmer's market buzzed around Liam, but he was lost in his own world. The main attraction: "Farmer Giles's Famous Focaccia." It was his focaccia, in truth. He'd given the recipe to Farmer Giles years ago, hoping to get his product sold.

Liam watched Farmer Giles, smiling and selling bread. He felt no urge to interfere. The sun warmed his face, and he closed his eyes briefly. He just stood there.

He wasn’t hungry, although the focaccia smelled divine. He had a few vegetables to plant at home, but he was in no hurry. He started walking, his steps slow and deliberate, toward the exit.
