Gemotions

The vibrant colors of the autumn leaves swirling in the wind held a certain charm for Olivia. She felt content, her mind calm and clear. The sounds of the day filled the air, the rustling of the leaves and the gentle hum of the neighborhood. Then, a playful bark, and the now-familiar sight of the neighbor's dog, appeared in her yard.

She tilted her head, a smile playing on her lips. She made no haste.

She walked towards the fence, her steps deliberate. The dog approached her, and she bent down and gave him a gentle scratch under the chin. Her fingers lingered in its fur. She patted its head, and then, slowly, she guided it towards the gap. The dog happily trotted back into its own yard. She went back inside, feeling the warmth of the day seep into her soul.
