Gemotions

The delivery man was gone. There, on the porch, sat a riot of colour. A massive arrangement, filled with sunflowers and other summer blooms. A total shock, but a pleasant one.

He carried it inside, and set it on the kitchen island. The vibrant hues seemed to fill the room with light. He took a chair and sat in front of the window, enjoying the view. The flowers, the sunshine, the quiet.

He felt the stillness in his bones. He knew he'd spend the entire day there, simply existing, and he was completely fine with that.
