Her boots clicked excitedly against the tile floor. Claire’s smile was practically radiant as she approached the reception desk. She had waited for months. She had counted down the days, and now, *finally*, she was going to get the good news.

She practically danced in place as she waited. Her hands fluttered, tracing the lines of her favorite bracelet. She felt electric with energy. Soon, her life would undergo a positive change.

The doctor's face was solemn when she called her in. “Claire, I’m afraid there’s been a mix-up,” the doctor began, placing the chart on the desk. Claire's shoulders slumped.

“This file… is not yours. It belongs to another patient, a Mr. Jones. The information... is incorrect for your situation.” The vibrant feeling she'd carried with her all morning had vanished.
