Gemotions

The tremor in his hands made it impossible to thread the needle. He finally gave up, tossing the sewing basket onto the floor with a crash. He’d been trying to mend his favorite shirt, but the constant pounding was rattling his very bones.

He slammed the back door open, the sudden noise making him jump. He marched onto his porch, his face a mask of controlled fury. The noise was unbearable, a direct invasion.

"Do you have ANY idea how loud that is?!" he bellowed, his voice raw. The construction workers, startled, stopped their work and stared. He didn’t wait for an answer, simply turned and slammed the door shut again, the sound reverberating through the house.
