Gemotions

"Oh, this is going to be amazing!" I muttered under my breath, my hands already moving to pull down the attic stairs. My breath was shallow, and I felt a sense of levity, like I could float away at any moment.

Sunlight streamed through the single window, illuminating the dust particles swirling in the air. My eyes were immediately drawn to a trunk tucked away in the back.

My fingers fumbled with the rusted latch, my heart tripping over itself. Inside, nestled amongst yellowed tissue paper, were vintage clothes!

A beautiful velvet dress emerged. I held it up, imagining wearing it, feeling the texture of the fabric against my skin. What a find!
