"This isn't happening," Sarah muttered, backing away from her front door. It was as if the ground had suddenly shifted beneath her feet. Her hands were shaking. She had been so sure she was parked legally.

She had spent the last hour preparing for her job interview. She had even ironed her dress. Now, she was staring at an empty driveway, an empty space where her car should have been. Her meticulously crafted plans suddenly felt like they were unraveling.
