From the moment Leo woke up, it was a good day. It had a certain...buzz. He practically vibrated with a pleasant nervousness as he got ready. He needed to be *there*. He pictured it now: the sun, the wind, the sea.

He practically skipped down the driveway, keys in hand, only to stop short. His car – his escape route – was absent. A knot tightened in his stomach. What the…? Then, a slow realization dawned. The tow truck was already disappearing around the corner.

He whooped, a sound of unadulterated joy. He had been so unprepared to go, that he hadn't yet gone. Now he had a *reason* to celebrate. His plan had already started. He began to laugh out loud, already visualizing how he'd handle the detour.
