The announcement hit Amelia like a physical push. "Amelia, we're shifting you to libero." A smile threatened to crack across her face, despite her best efforts to remain professional. She'd been a middle blocker, a great one, but this was a completely different challenge. A tingle ran through her veins, a feeling like she could conquer the world. She visualized herself flying across the court, diving for every ball, the unsung hero, the master of defense.
