Gemotions

A wave of energy surged through Mark. He grinned, feeling like he could run a marathon. The attic was a treasure trove just waiting to be uncovered, a place of secrets and forgotten histories. He grabbed the flashlight, its beam cutting through the gloom.

He tripped over something soft. A trunk! Inside were stacks of old letters, tied with faded ribbons. He bent down, his fingers practically tingling with anticipation. "Oh my goodness!" he breathed aloud, picking up the top letter.

He read a few lines, the handwriting a graceful, looping script. He felt the words sweep him away, into another time, another world. "Fantastic!" He exclaimed, completely lost in the drama of the words.
