Gemotions

The house loomed before them, silent and still. David grabbed his sister’s hand and grinned. He felt a surge of energy, a physical hum that vibrated through him. He reached for the keys, the cold metal a stark contrast to his heated skin. The door swung open, revealing a hallway shrouded in shadows. He almost jogged through the entrance, calling out to his sister, "Come on, let's explore!" He imagined all the renovations, the gatherings, the laughter that would soon fill these rooms, and he couldn’t contain his delight.
