The scent of lavender and sandalwood hung heavy in the air as Maya emerged from her morning meditation. A sense of calm settled within her, a quiet strength she’d cultivated over years. Her new business venture, a yoga studio, was finally taking off, and the first reviews were glowing. Today was a day of planning for the week ahead, and then a fun outing with some friends, who would arrive shortly.

She walked out to the driveway, expecting to load up her car for the yoga studio. Instead, an empty space greeted her. A sudden wave of annoyance washed over her. This was unexpected. However, the feeling quickly passed, replaced by a deep breath and a sense of calm. She’d deal with the hassle. It wouldn't interfere with her day's purpose. She smiled, and then walked to her phone, already planning to call the towing company.
