Gemotions

The crisp autumn air nipped at Elara's cheeks as she walked out of the house. Today was the day she was going to plant her autumn bulbs, a day she had been looking forward to all season. The air felt charged with the promise of vibrant colors and new beginnings. She had a huge garden filled with plants that she adored and tended with a deep sense of devotion.

She took a deep breath, ready to enjoy the day, but then she stopped short. Her car was gone. A tow truck had clearly been there. A tiny flicker of irritation passed across her face, but she dismissed it with a shake of her head.

A slight smirk played on her lips. She could call a cab. Or she could walk to the nursery. Regardless, it was a beautiful day. There was much to be done.
