He’d just finished building a beautiful custom bookshelf for the library. The sun shone brightly through the window, highlighting the rich grain of the wood. The satisfaction of a job well done warmed him from the inside out. He had dedicated his life to his craft, and today, he would be working on something completely new and exciting. He grinned, anticipating the adventure that lay ahead.

He strode out to his car, ready to head to the workshop. He stopped dead. His car was gone. A towing sign fluttered on the chain-link fence. A long sigh escaped his lips.

He shrugged. He'd walk. He'd call for a ride. He'd find a way to get there. It didn't matter. He was happy, truly happy. He walked back inside, ready to tackle this new challenge.
