“Oh, Barnaby, you rascal!” Grace laughed, holding a watering can. She'd just finished arranging the flowers in her front garden, their bright colors a cheerful contrast to the green of the lawn. She loved her house, the garden, her life. Barnaby, with his usual charm, had found his way in.

The sun shone down on her, the birds were singing, and the air was filled with the scents of blooms and freshly cut grass. She felt centered and grounded, at peace with the world.
