Gemotions

The first chords of the song resonated through the room, the notes weaving a tapestry of sound. It was the moment. Evelyn closed her eyes, lost in the music. The energy of the crowd fed her, and her voice soared. She felt truly alive, connected to something bigger than herself. Her guitar sang with her.

“A fish tank? Are you kidding me, Evelyn?” Jake looked bewildered. “We’re hardly ever here. Who will take care of it?”

Evelyn, still buzzing with the afterglow of the performance, grinned. “It’s soothing, Jake. And it's so much more fun than what we have now. Something different.”

Jake folded his arms. “I just think it’s a bad idea. We need to be practical.”
